Crossgrain - Intelligent Technology Solutions

Eyes on remote sites. Systems that fit how you work.

Solar-powered camera units for road works, slips and off-grid sites, and Ostendo business systems set up around the way your industry actually runs.

What we do

We build, deploy and look after the gear ourselves, and we set up software that saves your team time rather than adding to it.

  • Live view and remote diagnostics
  • Solar, battery, 4G and Starlink
  • Maintained for the length of the hire

Business software

Ostendo and MYOB set up, connected and customised for trades, engineering and manufacturing businesses.

  • MYOB integration
  • Custom screens, reports and workflows

Monitoring and automation

  • Custom builds for one-off problems

Why Crossgrain

Going against the grain, on purpose.

Crossgrain is an ode to Colin and the family's sawmilling roots. Anyone who's worked timber knows that cutting across the grain is the harder way through, and that's the approach we take: we'd rather do the harder job properly than take the easy cut.

Three generations on, we work with circuits and software rather than timber, but the standard hasn't changed. We're a family business based in Te Awamutu, working with contractors, the transport industry and businesses across the Waikato and beyond.
